Dr. Farzana Hussain is an accomplished educator and data science leader with over 30 years of experience in mathematics and applied research. She holds a BS, MS, and PhD in Applied Mathematics from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh and has completed advanced data science training from leading institutions such as Georgia Tech and Stanford University.
As a Professor and Chair of the Mathematics Department at Huston-Tillotson University, Dr. Hussain is passionate about fostering innovation and empowering underrepresented communities through education, technology, and career readiness programs. She has spearheaded initiatives that provide free training in data science, blockchain, and emerging technologies to hundreds of students globally.
Recognized as an Emerging Leader in Health Data Science, Dr. Hussain continues to drive impactful projects that bridge gaps in education and healthcare, ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities for all.
