🌍 IEF Joins the United Nation's DESA Civil Society System

We are pleased to share that the Innovation & Education Foundation has been officially accepted into the DESA Civil Society System. This recognition strengthens our commitment to advancing education, health research, youth empowerment, and equitable access to opportunities across communities.

Becoming part of the ESA Civil Society System expands our ability to collaborate with global partners, contribute to international development efforts, and amplify the voices of the young people and communities we serve. It reflects our ongoing dedication to ethical leadership, transparency, and meaningful impact.

This milestone marks an exciting new chapter for our foundation as we continue working toward a more inclusive, informed, and empowered world.

🎉 IEF Receives the MAA Tensor Enrichment Grant 2026!

We are delighted to announce that the Innovation & Education Foundation (IEF) has been awarded the Tensor Enrichment Grant from the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) for our project:

“Expanding Pathways in the Mathematical Sciences through Mentored Enrichment, iSTEME Engagement, and Career Preparation at Huston‑Tillotson University.”

This grant recognizes IEF’s commitment to expanding access, strengthening STEM identity, and creating meaningful academic and career pathways for students—especially those from historically underserved communities. Through this project, we will deliver:

• Mentored enrichment in mathematics and data science

• Hands‑on iSTEME workshops and innovation challenges

• Career preparation sessions and internship guidance

• Research mentorship and faculty–student collaboration

• Community‑building activities that support confidence and belonging in STEM

• Pathways connecting students to graduate programs and STEM careers

Receiving the Tensor Enrichment Grant is a powerful affirmation of our mission and impact. It strengthens our ability to support students at Huston‑Tillotson University and beyond, helping them build the skills, networks, and confidence needed for future‑ready STEM careers.
